Non-Linear Schrodinger Equation

This project simulates the collision of soliton solutions of the cubic-quintic Schrodinger equation, used to model short light pulses in optic fibres of higher-order refractive index. The split-step method is used to numerically model the solution, and the effects of varying the strength of nonlinearity and the soliton velocity are explored in the context of the collision of two solitons.
